I'm trying to catch up on my posts. I lost my high speed
connection and have been having a heck of a time getting my dial up
connection to work. At the moment I can't send out any e-mail and
it seems like whenever I need to upload a large amount of data, I get
disconnected... It's been a pain, so I am a day behind already
today.

I wanted to get Becky and the girls something that would help
them to feel like the bus project is moving along, so I bought 3
gallons of Z-Prime (a sealer/primer). I thought that it
might be fun to cover up all the bare wood paneling and get a
glimpse of what the bus is going to look like once it is
finished.
We haven't decided on a wall color yet, but we know it will
be light, so white primer will be a good start.
The fumes of the Z-Prime are pretty bad, so we had to have
the fan going full speed while Becky painted in the
bathroom. We definitely need some
ventilation in that room.

Emily wanted to paint her own room so badly. Becky and her
went to work getting all of the paneling and MDF board
primed. Emily got a bit carried away at one point, so we
have some work to do scraping the windows and knocking down some
of the biggest drips I think I have ever seen.
Becky did her best to recover some of the work that Emily had
done, but the Z-Prime dries so fast that it was already to
late... We'll have to come back with a scraper and some
sand paper to clean it up a bit.

The Bathroom looks totally different with painted walls.
It seems so much bigger in there now.
We still have a cabinet to build to support the sink and a
1/2 wall to hide the plumbing.

I basically worked all day on the refrigerator cabinet...
I have no idea why it took me so long to get only as much as you
see here done... I guess I spent most of the day getting
supplies and dealing with the my former ISP at the house...

Not a very good day for me, but the girls seemed to have some fun
painting. |
