Today was a good day. We took a trip into the "big"
city of Douglas, AZ (approx 16,000 people) and got some foil insulation
for our front window.

We spent most of the day in Douglas - about 30
minutes away. We took some time to explore the town and
found a "Food City" where we were happy to find fresh
produce, and much lower prices than Safeway.
Gary loves this picture because the solar panels are up, the
wind generator is cranking away, and the fire is roaring -
putting off a very nice glow in the front of the bus. I
was in my natural habitat - in front of the stove soaking up the
heat. |

As an experiment we tried cooking some chicken on
our wood stove. It worked really well! It also saved
us a bit of propane. |
