After our adventure with the ditch, we took some time to get familiar
with our surroundings.

With the sun out and the weather nice, Gary took the
opportunity to re-seal the sun roof in the kids' room. We
had taken it out while in Parker, AZ because we had no ventilation
and needed a vent. He also cut a hole and installed one of
the fantastic fans in the laundry area of the bus. |

Having a way to vent to the outside has proven to be a priceless
addition. |

We also got tired of pinning sheets up over the
windows, so we broke down and installed the mini blinds we
re-claimed from the house. This made a huge difference in
our heat blocking ability as well. |
