March 2004
March was a crazy month. It's the month that we said
"goodbye" to Oregon one last time. We finished up the last
few critical items inside the bus and spent the rest of the month selling
or shipping off everything we had accumulated over the years that would
not travel with us in the bus.
There were a lot of difficult days as we worried a bit about no longer
having a fixed location to call home. We began our adventure moving
to a place that we had never been before and not knowing exactly what to
expect.
We had our first major mishap with the bus and got it stuck in the mud
just yards from our destination in Arizona. It all turned out OK in
the end and now that we have a new spot to park our home we've been
exploring the area. We're also learning how to cope with some of the
challenges that come with living full time in a space approximately 300
square feet after being used to living in a space over 1400 and a
garage...
