I promised Becky that we'd leave the desert today, so last night we
lowered the panels and got the bus ready for travel again.

We stopped at our favorite place to eat (Willi's
Deli & More) for some breakfast before we head out of the
desert.
You don't really appreciate how big the bus is until you have
something to compare it to... Even with the oversized
tires and lift kit, the Keep looks like a little toy being
pulled behind the bus. |

Willi and her sister run Willi's Deli. We
spent quite a bit of time visiting with them over the past
couple of months while eating some of the best fresh baked
breads and delicious sandwiches I have ever had. If it was
possible, I would have Willi ship us her croissant breakfast
sandwiches every morning.
If you ever go through Sunizona, stop in at their place
(hidden behind the Mustang Mall grocery store) and say
"Hello from Becky and Gary". We will always
remember the great conversations we had and wouldn't have found
so many neat places to visit without their advise. |

We drove all the way from Sunizona Arizona to
Barstow California. It took us just about 12 hours.
We are spending the night at the Flying J Travel Plaza in
Barstow and going to try to make it as far as Redding California
by tomorrow. |
