It took most of the day to get the small cabinet
along the side of the bus constructed. I had to reroute
all of the DC wiring for the solar charge controller through the
wall so that the charge controller could be monitored.
While I was at it, I did some work to clean up the wiring for
the water pump, DC light and power TV antenna.
In this picture I still have not put the top on the
cabinet. |

Emily has really been enjoying the bus
lately. Up until the last week or so she has been telling
us that she wants to keep the house and her old room. Now
that the bus is finally beginning to look a bit less
"rough" she's been begging us to let her stay over
night in the bus and seems to feel more at home in the bus than
at the house.
The house is basically empty now. Most of our stuff has
migrated to boxes in various piles. Almost everything is
in the downstairs living room now awaiting the big move into the
bus. |

Here's a close up of the the charge controller and
display/control panel for the inverter. |
At the rate that we're getting things done now, we should be able to
stick to our goal of getting packed up and out of here by the middle of
next week. There's still a lot to get done though... |
