February 2004
We started out the month traveling back to Oregon from our stay in
Quartzsite. We took the coastal route and enjoyed all of the
beautiful scenery. We learned that trying to find a place to park a
40 foot bus can be a bit of a challenge. Even campgrounds and RV
parks that advertise that they have spaces large enough for our
bus and tow vehicle generally exaggerate and end up being ridiculously
small.
Our favorite overnight spots while traveling are the casinos.
They're quiet, safe and easy to find space in. Neither Becky or I
gamble, so for us it's just a nice free spot to spend the night and have
cheap breakfast in the morning.
We didn't get much time to work on the bus this month, but we did
manage to finish out the month with some new cabinet doors, interior paint
and some carpet pad.
