One thing that we have discovered is that Formula 409 and a
scrubber get the roof panels as white as the newly primed walls.
It takes about 15 minutes or so of scrubbing to get one panel
somewhat clean. My arm was sore from scrubbing over my
head, so it's going to be a daily routine to clean a panel until
they're all done.

We had the primer out to coat the newly paneled sections in the
front of the bus.
I had some extra primer left over in the pan, so I decided to
prime a few other things while I was at it. I did a few of
the cabinet doors and did some touch up in the bathroom and
hallway.

We also went ahead and primed the 2 panels on the front of the
refrigerator. They were pretty easy to remove once we
figured out how to take off the 2 plastic strips.
Becky is planning to paint the copper colored trim to look
more like aluminum so it will match the strip lighting in the
center of the ceiling.
Emily liked the transformation from dark wood to bright white
primer.

We finished covering the wheel well with the box that will
eventually become the couch/bed.
I have to cut some openings for a drawer and a couple of
cabinet doors.

I also worked on the framing for the bathroom counter. It
took a bit of thought to come up with an easy way to hide the
drain pipes and heater vent tubing in the future.
I plan to make a short wall that will enclose the pipes and
anything else that I need to run to the back of the bus on the
right side. The framing that I put in today will make that
easy enough.

Since I had the framing in place I went ahead and installed the
countertop and sink.
We found some laminate remnants when we picked up the MDF a
few days ago. Becky picked out a really nice green and
gray pattern. It looks really nice with the aluminum and
stainless steel.
I'm leaving the choice of paint color for the walls up to
Becky. She seems to have an eye for decorating.
