Work on removing the raised floor on the right side of the
bus continued today. I had hoped that we could completely finish
the right side by the end of the day, but after going through about a
dozen drill bits trying to drill out the rusted bolts all along the edge
of the platform (and spending 20 dollars on cobalt drill bits that were
worthless in less than 30 minutes, I was too frustrated to continue and
called it quits for the day. |

I had wanted to see at least a section of the floor level
and even with the sub floor, but found out that there were a whole new
set of bolts to be removed on the other side of the metal risers.
Enough for today. A new strategy is in order if I am going to get
things level before I burn out... |
