We've been going on a bit of an emotional roller coaster ride the
past couple of days. Becky and I are bored to tears here in
Elfrida and are about ready to hit the road again. We were
planning to stay here and explore the surrounding areas while Erika
finished out this year in school. Neither of us wanted to pull
Erika out of school again, but to be honest, I don't like the way that
they are teaching her and lately Erika has been relaying to us that her
teacher talks about god a lot in class. It's confusing Erika and making
me angry at the lack of good judgment on the teacher's part.
This part of Arizona can be very beautiful at times. The
dramatic color of the surrounding mountains and crystal clear night
skies are inspiring. The dust and lack of big city entertainment
and luxuries are making the area less enjoyable though. We are
beginning to feel a bit stuck here and having trouble finding anyone
here that we can identify with...
